Who can enter?
If you have traveled with the Traveling Aggies after September 1, 2019, we invite you to submit your photos!
You may submit one photo for each category, per trip, along with a two to five word description/caption. Entries must be submitted by the original photographer. Do no submit photos taken by someone other that you.
Categories:
Photos will be judged according to six categories:
People - Persons traveling on the tour or living in the region
Places - Buildings, monuments, landscapes, scenery of region
Culture - Festivals or activities that are representative of that region
Plants - Plants of all kinds specific to the region
Animals - Animals of all kinds specific to the region
“Howdy” - Howdy (the Traveling Aggies Gnome) photographed on tours
Deadline for receiving photos for the 2023 Photo Contest is July 31, 2023.
Each photo is judged on its creativity and quality, as well as its relevance to the specific category in which it is entered. Additionally, travelers must write a two to five word description/caption for each photo. The description is part of the judging criteria and may be used if your photo is published.
The photo must be in its original state and cannot be altered in any way, including but not limited to removing, adding, reversing, or distorting subjects within the frame.
Photos will be judged by past travelers and staff members of The Association of Former Students. Winners will be announced at the 2023 Traveling Aggies Reunion.
